Wordpress has issued an update to version 2.8. It is 2.8.2 and an easy, automatic update for most Wordpress blogs. Simply click Update Automatically and the fix takes just a minute or two.
As with any such software update, it is always advisable to backup a blog’s database and essential files, first.
Wordpress 2.8.2 will probably mean a need to update certain plugins which, again, are handled by choosing the automatic option.
