Wordpress Update

Posted by David with 2 Comments

wordpressWordpress 2.7.1 has been released. It is an extremely easy update for any self-hosted Wordpress blog.

Simply sign-in, and you will see a notice to upgrade to version 2.7.1. You are given a choice to update automatically (highly preferred), or to download and upgrade manually. I use the former, and Wordpress updates automatically in less than one minute.

NOTE: If using the WP Auto-Upgrade plug-in, you need to deactivate first before using Wordpress’s own auto-upgrade option, or else it conflicts. You can re-activate once you’ve completed the upgrade. Special thanks to Danny Brown (@dannybrown) for this heads-up.

You can re-activate once you’ve completed the upgrade, if you wish.
