The NEW Vybe Theme for Wordpress

Posted by David with No Comments

Solostream WP-Vybe 11Thanks to Mike Durkin, head of Solostream (and @solostream on Twitter), I have just had a chance to test drive the new, updated WP-Vybe theme from Solostream for Wordpress.

I began using the original Vybe theme a couple of years ago, and love it. You can see examples at BoomerCafe.com and DavidHenderson.com. The colors are rich, striking and deep … which delivers a distinctive look to a blog.

What Mike and his team have done with the new Vybe is expand the color palette to include 20 colors, including a spectrum of pastels. Clearly, they have made one of the best themes for Wordpress even better.

Among other features of Vybe are threaded, styled comments.

Here’s what Mike says:

By far the number one request for the WP-Vybe theme has been to release new lighter colors. We’ve been told that the new theme re-energizes the design and creates new opportunities for its use.

Existing customers will be receiving an update notice with instructions for downloading WP-Vybe 1.1. There will no additional cost for the upgrade to existing customers.

FREE upgrade to existing customers?! Terrific!

If you are seeking the best out-of-the-box theme for Wordpress that has easy to use customization menus, and no need to fiddle with .css, I highly recommend Solostream’s new WP-Vybe.
